As Business Development  Manager, details, details, and more details are and always will be  a key ingredient to Roger’s  approach to New Business. These componets  are  necessary to ensure a mutually rewarding  outcome for both our new  and existing clients  as well as the entire team at Cleantech. With over 30 years of client services including a background  of 20 years in business  and corporate management,  along with a BA from UBC, Roger is well prepared for this critical  role of growth and development at Cleantech. He looks forward to meeting company representatives in the very near future.

I write to tell you about two Annual General Meetings which took place recently.  Not only the strata councils for both buildings, but the owners present at these meetings all  gave Cleantech, the cleaning personnel, and the supervisor Sharon a round of applause, expressing their happiness in changing to Cleantech for their janitorial services.

I also must mention that many owners have commented on Sharon’s attendance and they were certain she was very much in charge of the cleaning for these buildings and that she was doing a very good job of directing the cleaners.

Elaine comes to Cleantech from a multi-faceted international facilities management corporation, having seen the potential for great career strides in our team-oriented, young, and progressive company.  In the past several years, Elaine has worked with national clients in the downtown core and outlying areas, providing support to both the public and private sectors.  With a degree in marketing, Elaine is dedicated to understanding customer needs, and developing a program to fit their janitorial needs.   She looks forward to meeting with our existing clients and forging relationships with great new prospects.

Cleantech is pleased to announce that we are working with Jeff Abram at Search West to find a dedicated and industrious new addition to our team.  We are looking for a sales professional with industry or related experience who can help facilitate our continued growth in the janitorial industry in the lower mainland and beyond.

Cleantech Janitorial is pleased to offer additional protection and disinfection products and services to our clients upon request. We have, in cooperation with our suppliers, assembled kits containing essentials such as hand sanitizers, disinfecting wipes, gloves, and facemasks. Kits are available for $249.00 and will be delivered in mid October.

Kits must be ordered by Sept 30th

Further we will work closely with our clients in the event of a suspected outbreak in their building to offer special disinfecting deep cleans upon request. Ask one of our Supervisors or call our office for details @ 604-244-1660.

Karen is the latest addition to the Cleantech team and takes over the role of our front desk and inventory control. Karen comes to us with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of BC and has served as project assistant with the UBC Development Office. Karen has a varied background which includes administration, marketing, operations, and medical research project coordination. Cleantech clients, service personnel, and suppliers may contact Karen regarding new or existing product orders.

Do you know that Cleantech employs a full time training officer?  We endeavor to stay current with the leading janitorial supply and technique news and implement ways to improve our service or make the work of our services personnel more effective.   Our training office has a long background in the janitorial industry and is adept at conveying new developments across our work force.

Every building is unique and so are each of our cleaning personnel.  It is the training office who ensures that the scope of work is clearly conveyed to the service personnel and that a proper fit between property and personnel is achieved.  For newly hired personnel,  our training officer is on site teaching them the Cleantech way of cleaning.

We would like to extend our warmest birthday wishes to John Rochard who celebrates his 70th birthday on Thursday!  Many of us were honored to attend a fantastic Caribbean birthday celebration this past weekend and were able to mark this special birthday occasion with John’s family and friends.  Happy Birthday John!
